Soapie is designed around local ownership. Recipes, batch records, cure history, inventory data, photos, and notes are intended to live on your device unless you choose to export them or enable any future backup feature.
What data Soapie processes
The app processes the data you enter so it can calculate formulas, save workshop history, generate exports, and restore your purchases. That can include recipe inputs, notes, photos attached to a batch, and inventory or supplier details that you choose to store.
What leaves your device
Soapie does not require an account to use its core functionality. No recipe or batch data is sent to us as part of normal offline use. Information may leave your device only when you intentionally export it, send a support email, make a purchase through Apple, or use any future sync or backup feature you explicitly enable.
Payments
Purchases are processed by Apple. We do not receive your full payment card details. We may receive entitlement or transaction status information needed to unlock paid features or restore prior purchases.
Website analytics and support
The marketing site may collect standard web analytics such as page visits, referrers, and browser details so we can understand site performance. If you contact us, we process your email and any information you include so we can respond.
Retention and control
You control the workshop data stored in the app. You can delete records inside the app and export your data when needed. We retain support correspondence only as long as necessary to handle the conversation and related business records.
