Soapie does not require an account for core use. Recipes, batch records, cure history, and inventory are intended to stay on device unless you choose to export them or enable any future sync feature.

Paid access is handled through Apple. That means Apple manages billing and restoration mechanics, while Soapie only needs the entitlement state required to unlock features.
Why this matters
The purchase model and the data model should agree with each other. A local-first app should feel local-first in both behavior and messaging.
